Code of Conduct

Every project here is built on clear thinking and honest collaboration. This document defines how I expect everyone involved to show up.

I hold my own work to a high standard and I ask the same of everyone who contributes, comments, or participates in any capacity. The conduct that belongs here includes communicating with directness and respect, engaging with ideas on their merit, and giving feedback that is specific, honest, and constructive. Furthermore, it requires accepting feedback without defensiveness, acknowledging when you are wrong and moving forward, and prioritizing the quality of the work over being right.

Conversely, conduct that has no place here includes personal attacks, insults, or dismissiveness toward any person, as well as harassment of any kind, whether public or private. Sharing someone’s private information without their explicit consent, derailing discussions with irrelevant arguments or bad-faith engagement, using discriminatory language or behavior of any kind, and sustained disruptive behavior after being asked to stop are strictly prohibited. The bar for participation is simple: engage with the work seriously and treat people with basic respect, as everything else follows from that.

I take reports seriously, and if something violates this code, I will act. Depending on the nature of the violation, the response may include a private warning, removal of the offending content, temporary restriction from participation, or a permanent ban from all repositories under this organization. I make these calls based on what protects the quality and integrity of the work and the people doing it.

If you experience or witness a violation, you can reach me at connect@omrajguru.com or through omrajguru.com/contact. Reports are handled with discretion, and I will review every report and respond with a clear course of action. This code of conduct applies across all repositories, issues, pull requests, discussions, and any other space under this organization. It also applies when someone is representing this organization or its projects in any external context.

Ultimately, I want this to be a place where sharp ideas get built into real things. That requires people who take the work seriously and treat each other with honesty and respect. If you are here to build something meaningful, you are welcome here.
